| In 1993 John and Jennifer Joslin sailed into the Marlborough Sounds and tasted their first Marlborough wines. The quality from this premium wine region so impressed them they purchased land and planted their own vineyard. The first Mud House wine was released in 1996. The name Mud House comes from the rammed earth house they have built in the middle of their home vineyard. |

| This intense, powerful wine exhibits all
of the hallmark characteristics of a classic Marlborough Sauvignon
Blanc. The nose shows passionfruit, gooseberry, currants and guava
with underlying mineral notes. A full bodied wine with powerful
gooseberry, passionfruit and guava flavours. Hints of subtle
mineral undertones lead to a mouth watering acidity. Well balanced
with a rich yet elegant palate leading to a long lingering finish.
