Mud House Pinot Gris - Marlborough , New Zealand

In 1993 John and Jennifer Joslin sailed into the Marlborough Sounds and tasted their first Marlborough wines.  The quality from this premium wine region so impressed them they purchased land and planted their own vineyard.  The first Mud House wine was released in 1996.  The name Mud House comes from the rammed earth house they have built in the middle of their home vineyard.

Pale straw in colour with lifted floral aromas, with pear-drop, apple, apricot and citrus undertones.  This is a medium bodied mouth filling Pinot Gris with subtle hints of almonds, pears and dried apricots with touches of spice.
