Rymill Botrytis Gewurztraminer - Coonawarra
| The renowned wine district of Coonawarra, which lies in the temperate south of the Australian continent, was founded in 1890 by John Riddoch on a unique ridge of terra rossa soil only seventeen miles long and one mile wide. |

| Riddoch's tradition has been maintained by the family of his great grandson, Peter Riddoch Rymill. From its distinctive winery, recognised world-wide by two majestic bronze stallions rampant, the Rymill family is proud to present this classic thoroughbred wine made exclusively from grapes grown in it's own Coonawarra vineyards. | |
| In 2005, a section of our small Gewurztraminer vineyard was affected by naturally occurring Botrytis cinerea. The dry autumn allowed the grapes to ripen until very late in the season, with picking finally taking place in early June. This highly raisined fruit, with its concentrated sugars and citrus flavours has produced an aromatic, spicy and luscious wine. |
